In the 27 years (and counting) that I have spent at Medallion, they have always promoted a healthy work/life balance; which is important to me. I love our lunch program, and the culture works perfectly for me on both personal and professional level. There are many opportunities to learn and grow within Service by Medallion and you are supported all the way. I love the Halloween costume contest, company BBQ’s, end of the year festivities, the coffee machine, and of course the Bonuses!

I am proud to be an employee of Service by Medallion for almost five years. I truly enjoy coming to work in such a family, friendly atmosphere. Many people have been here for 10+, 20+, and even 30+ years. It also tries to promote from within the corporation before seeking outside candidates. SBM is big in recognizing the efforts of its employees from doing a good job and going beyond job expectation. Moreover, SBM provides information on healthy living habits such a diet, exercise and emotional wellbeing. It also provides a fun and supportive atmosphere through company events and healthy corporate lunches. In conclusion, SBM is like a second home to me and I really enjoy working here.
I started my career with Service By Medallion in 1999 as a janitor working fulltime on graveyard shift. After less than a year I was promoted to Night Foreman and was overseeing the other night staff. I was a young man and learned fast that hard work and dedication would take me places. After 4 years as District Manager, Medallion believed in me again and I got my final promotion to Sr. Operations Manager. I couldn’t believe I had made it this far. Medallion believed in me and helped me grow my portfolio and my experience. I love my job. I appreciate the fact that the company provides opportunities for their employees to move up the ladder. To those just starting their careers I tell you, keep your head high, learn, dedicate yourself and show people you have the passion to learn and grow and you too may be the next Supervisor or Manager at SBM. Thank you for my 22 years and here is to another 25 more!
